Danny's Truck

For our maths we went outside to look at Danny's truck. Danny is Nici's dad and he works at Mainfreight. We got back to class and we had to make something that shows some maths we made out of the information we got. - Layla

Using Our People Powers - Make Their Day

Today we talked about how we can make people's days. During this week I will make people's days by:

• Giving Them a BIG Smile
• Giving Them Compliments
• Include People in my Games
• Give People Nice Greetings

Last week I said I would give someone a big smile, Give somebody a compliment, Include people in my games and give people nice greetings. During the week at Road Patrol I gave quite a few drivers a BIG smile and I could tell that I made their day because they smiled back at me happily. I gave my friend Sandra a compliment too. I said I liked her glasses because they were cool. I included some people in my games on the playground as well. In the mornings I always greet the teachers and sometime give them a hug. I always felt warm inside when I made someone's day. If you make someone's day then maybe they will make your day too.
